From Yaowarat to Phuket, the Tourism Authority of Thailand invites locals and visitors to join the nationwide Vegetarian Festival 2025 this October—featuring sacred rituals, colorful processions, and an abundance of plant-based delicacies symbolizing renewal and compassion.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites everyone to celebrate spiritual purity and cultural heritage at one of the nation’s most remarkable annual traditions — the Thailand Vegetarian Festival 2025, taking place in October across the country.

Rooted in Chinese-Thai heritage, the festival is a time for spiritual purification, merit-making, and blessings for health, prosperity, and longevity. Visitors can witness colorful processions of Chinese deities, sacred rituals, and taste a wide array of vegetarian dishes symbolizing purity and renewal.
