The update outlined the government’s approach to border management, public communication, and diplomatic engagement with Cambodia.
Authorities said Thailand’s activities in border areas are carried out with caution and transparency in accordance with international law and existing bilateral frameworks. The Thai government maintains respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity and supports resolving issues through established consultation mechanisms between the two countries.
The briefing also addressed the circulation of information related to the situation. Officials said sensitive matters should be communicated responsibly and based on verified facts to avoid misunderstanding or hostility between the people of both countries. The center said it will continue providing factual updates while encouraging the public to avoid sharing content that could increase tensions.
Thailand also reiterated that border matters should be addressed through bilateral channels between the two governments. Authorities said dialogue, cooperation, and mutual trust remain the most constructive path toward maintaining stability and preserving the long-standing relationship between the people of Thailand and Cambodia.
