BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand’s Community Development Department has recently unveiled the “Thai Textiles Trend Book Autumn/Winter 2025-2026,” the sixth volume produced under the royal initiative “Fun with Thai Fabrics” of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who served as an editor-in-chief and wrote the royal preface. The book’s concept, “Future fashion: Creative innovation for sustainability,” demonstrates how innovations in traditional crafts, particularly the locally sourced fibers of Thailand, can be elevated into contemporary designs that meet the needs of the global fashion industry.
The latest edition also illustrates the wisdom and refined techniques of the designers and craftspeople and explores the use of natural fibers, such as silk, hemp, cotton, lotus fiber, banana fiber, pineapple fiber, bamboo fiber, water hyacinth fiber, and dahla fiber, among countless others.
The Thai Textiles Trend Book Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 can be downloaded free of charge at https://online.fliphtml5.com/rnqjs/dbjs/?search=fun#p=4, providing access for readers in Thailand and worldwide who are interested in sustainable fashion and locally made Thai fabrics. (PRD)
