Thai PM Anutin says everyone involved in the civil service exam fraud case will face legal action as investigators continue pursuing an organized cheating network.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the Crime Suppression Division headquarters on July 15 to receive a briefing on the investigation into the 2025 local government civil service examination fraud case. Investigators informed the prime minister that three suspects have been arrested on multiple charges, including forgery, tampering with official records, cyber offenses, and the disclosure of confidential government information. The case involves an organized network, and the investigation remains ongoing.



Anutin thanked the agencies involved in the investigation, saying the case has been handled promptly and in accordance with the law. The premier added that all criminal and disciplinary proceedings are being conducted based on available evidence, and that anyone found to be involved will face legal action without exception. The Ministry of Interior said the case will be submitted to the Central Committee for Local Government Personnel Recruitment Examinations on July 23 for further review. (NNT)
