Eco-Tourism Excellence: The national park housing Thai Mueang Beach wins top honors for conservation and green tourism.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand’s Thai Mueang Beach, located in Khao Lampi–Hat Thai Mueang National Park, Phang Nga province, has been certified under ISO 13009:2015 for international beach management standards—encompassing essential aspects such as educating visitors and providing information, ensuring safety in beach and water activities, managing the environment and minimizing tourism impact, and preparing infrastructure to support long-term sustainable tourism.



The park also received an “Excellent Green National Park” award, highlighting its dedication to conservation and eco-tourism.

“Thai Mueang beach is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking natural beauty combined with well-managed, sustainable tourism,” said Mr. Anukool Pruksanusak, Deputy Government Spokesperson. (PRD)
