BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the opening ceremony of OTOP Midyear 2026 on June 22 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Nonthaburi province, where he toured exhibition booths, viewed product demonstrations, and met with entrepreneurs and visitors. Organized by the Ministry of Interior under the theme “OTOP NEXT INSPIRATION: Adding Value to Products Rooted in Local Wisdom for the Global Stage,” the event runs from June 20-28 at Challenger Halls 1-3 in Muang Thong Thani.

The exhibition features more than 2,500 booths showcasing three- to five-star OTOP products from 76 provinces and Bangkok. The government said the event also supports its “Thais Help Thais Plus” policy by encouraging the consumption of Thai products, showcasing the identity, wisdom, and potential of local products, and expanding market opportunities for community producers and entrepreneurs. The exhibition is expected to generate income and create new economic opportunities for local communities while increasing the quality and value of community products and supporting the grassroots economy.
