UBON RTACHATHANI, Thailand – The Thai national flag has been raised over the Chong Ahn Ma area between Hill 677 and Hill 500 during a military operation carried out by SMART Soldiers using an unmanned aerial system. The mission reaffirmed Thailand’s assertion of sovereignty in the area amid ongoing security concerns.
Known as Operation Phoenix, the mission demonstrated Thai forces’ resolve to safeguard the national territory and uphold territorial integrity. The operation honored the courage and sacrifice of Thai soldiers and conveyed that Thailand’s sovereignty remains firm and non-negotiable. (NNT)
