BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched three nationwide campaigns offering domestic flight discounts, transportation subsidies for organized tours, and special experiences for singles and solo travelers. Announced on October 29, the promotions are expected to generate at least 629 million baht in economic activity through early 2027, supporting TAT’s tourism strategy, the Year of Transformation.
The first campaign, Fly Across Thailand, Heal Your Heart on Every Trip, offers a 500-baht discount on eligible domestic flights through seven airlines: Thai Airways, Thai AirAsia, Thai Vietjet, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Thai Lion Air, and Ezy Airlines. Travelers can use the promotional code FLYTODOM for bookings made through December 15, 2026, with travel permitted until January 15, 2027, subject to airline conditions.
The second campaign, Amazing Thailand: Explore Thailand with Organized Tours, provides transportation subsidies to eligible tour operators working with nine tourism organizations. Chartered buses carrying at least 30 tourists qualify for 10,000 baht per day, capped at 40,000 baht per trip, while vans carrying at least six tourists qualify for 2,500 baht per day, up to 10,000 baht per trip. Tours must last at least two days and one night, cross provincial boundaries, and include an overnight stay outside the departure province.
The third campaign, Single Journey 2026, features eight activities and 10 travel routes across Thailand’s five regions for singles and solo travelers. Experiences include seaside movie screenings, underwater sound healing, nature excursions, train journeys, group runs, pet-friendly trips, coastal getaways, and coffee gatherings. Partners including Trip.com, Tinder, and Love Andaman will offer additional discounts and benefits, helping encourage domestic travel and support local tourism businesses. (NNT)
