Suvarnabhumi Airport earns a four-star rating from Skytrax as AOT upgrades facilities, digital services, and passenger amenities, paving the way toward a future five-star status.

BANGKOK, Thailand – According to Airports of Thailand (AOT), Suvarnabhumi Airport has recently been upgraded from a three to a four-star rating by Skytrax, a UK-based rating organization for air transport.

The recognition reflects AOT’s efforts to develop service quality and convenience, offering an impressive travel experience for passengers. This includes many projects, such as the installation of Automatic Channel Systems, which provides passengers with better and faster service through the use of digital technology. Other projects include the improvement of toilets, direction signs, and rapid Wi-Fi internet connections, among others.

In the near future, AOT will initiate kids and gaming zones, relaxing co-working spaces, and contemporary art exhibitions. The move is expected to secure the country’s position as the region’s leading aviation hub and push it to a 5-star rating. (PRD)
