BANGKOK, Thailand – The State Railway of Thailand marked National Mother’s Day 2026 with a historic steam train journey from Bangkok to Chachoengsao, inviting families to celebrate the day with a nostalgic trip to “Paet Riu”. Travellers enjoyed the classic charm of steam rail travel, along with time to explore Chachoengsao’s cultural landmarks, riverside community atmosphere, local food, and signature souvenirs.
