
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand spices up the global stage with six Thai restaurants making it onto the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards, held this year in Turin, Italy. This achievement once again affirms Thailand’s food soft power and the country’s growing potential as a World Gastronomy Destination.
Restaurants from 32 cities across 22 countries were selected for the global list, with over 10 newcomers making their debut. Thailand proudly secured 6 spots—all fine dining restaurants from Bangkok.

Backed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the strategy to position Thailand as a global gastronomy hub continues to gain momentum. Food is a powerful tool to attract high-quality tourists and boost Thailand’s image on the international stage.
