
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Metropolitan Police Bureau has announced the route for the royal funeral procession of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, whose royal remains will be transferred to the Grand Palace on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The procession will span approximately 10 kilometers and follow the route below:
The procession will depart from King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital and the Thai Red Cross Society, then turn left onto Henri Dunant Road. It will then turn right onto Rama IV Road and continue toward the Sam Yan Intersection.
From Sam Yan, the procession will turn right onto Phaya Thai Road and proceed to the Phaya Thai Intersection, where it will turn left onto Si Ayutthaya Road. The route will pass the 2nd Cavalry Division, King’s Guard (901 Land), and Wat Benchamabophit.
The procession will then turn left onto Ratchadamnoen Avenue and continue toward the Grand Palace, where the royal remains will be enshrined. (NNT)
