Today, the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai serves as a powerful symbol of remembrance, with this event created to pass on wartime history to younger generations while boosting tourism in Kanchanaburi.
In 2025, the event will be celebrated under the theme “The Light of Remembrance and Eternal Loyalty”, honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, beloved by Thai people nationwide.
