Rescue teams to stand by to help tourists on Chonburi beaches

CHONBURI – Chonburi provincial governor Komsan Ekachai said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the police to organize rescue teams on the beaches to help tourists in case of accidents.

The authorities are yet to set guidelines for the province’s seaside spots while measures will be taken toward prevention of possible losses of lives and rescue missions. Rescue teams will be set up consisting of staffers from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and some trainees.
