Red Shirts rally in red at Pheu Thai HQ to show loyalty to PM Paetongtarn amid political pressure

BANGKOK, Thailand – More than 500 members of the Red Shirt movement, including groups from all 50 districts of Bangkok, gathered at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road on Friday to express support for Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

Wearing signature red outfits and holding roses and floral bouquets, the crowd urged the prime minister not to dissolve parliament or resign, offering words of encouragement to remain firm and resilient during political turbulence.

Representatives of the government and party, MP Korkaew Pikulthong and PM’s advisor Songkhram Kitlertphairoj, received the gifts and thanked the supporters on behalf of Paetongtarn, who was in a meeting at the time.

Korkaew conveyed the prime minister’s gratitude and acknowledged the enduring loyalty of the Red Shirts, calling them “true friends in times of crisis.” Songkhram echoed the sentiment and highlighted the premier’s ongoing efforts to resolve national challenges – from border tensions with Cambodia and U.S. trade talks to delivering on Pheu Thai’s key policy promises.
