The Ramathibodi School of Nursing at Mahidol University announces a special admission offer to Juthamas Seejuijai, honoring the sacrifice of her father, Staff Sgt Theerayuth Seejuijai, who lost his life while defending Thailand’s national territory.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ramathibodi School of Nursing at Mahidol University has granted special admission to Juthamas Seejuijai, the daughter of a Thai soldier who perished while defending national territory. The decision honors the sacrifice of Staff Sergeant Theerayuth Seejuijai, who was killed during a confrontation at the Chong Sai Taku operational base in Ban Kruat district, Buriram province, in July 2025.

The offer was announced by the school’s director, who recognized the sacrifice made by service members who lost their lives in defense of the country. The school offered Juthamas an opportunity to study at the Ramathibodi School of Nursing through a special admission pathway without an entrance examination.

School officials have formally confirmed the offer and provided details on academic requirements, course structure, and eligibility for Juthamas’s enrollment in the program.

The officials said the special admission provides both educational opportunity and moral support to the Seejuyjuy family. This gesture of kindness honors the fallen soldier’s service while giving his family the opportunity to pursue a chosen career and contribute to the country’s public service in the future. (NNT)
