Warm Welcome in Hanoi – Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra begins her official visit to Vietnam, received by senior Vietnamese officials.

HANOI, Vietnam – Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra arrived in Hanoi today for an official visit aimed at bolstering trade and investment ties between Thailand and Vietnam.

Accompanied by a high-level delegation, including key ministers from transport, foreign affairs, tourism, and finance, she was welcomed by Vietnamese officials. Upon arrival, she engaged with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, followed by meetings with executives from prominent Vietnamese companies, SOVICO Group (Vietjet Air) and FPT Corporation, to explore potential investment and business expansion in Thailand.

Later in the day, Prime Minister Paetongtarn is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The day’s events will conclude with a dinner reception hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, highlighting the importance of the bilateral relationship.
