Prime Minister leads civil servant oath of allegiance to the nation

BANGKOK – In the run-up to His Majesty the King’s birthday, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha has led civil servants to take an oath of allegiance to the nation and the monarch. 

Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) chief Pol Maj-Gen Thitirat Nonghanpitak presided over the oath-taking ceremony. Over 300 civil servants took part in the activity.

The ceremony is one of many government activities that highlight the loyalty of civil servants to His Majesty the King on auspicious occasions. Public officials also prayed together for His Majesty the King’s longevity and health.
