
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Office of the Attorney General has appointed a new team of spokespersons, with Prayuth Petcharakun, Director-General of the Office of the Regional Public Prosecutor Region 4, named as the new Spokesperson. On October 2, Attorney General Kowit Sripairoj issued Order No. 2423/2026 to appoint a new spokesperson team, consisting of one spokesperson, six deputy spokespersons, and one assistant spokesperson. This team replaces the previous group following recent personnel transfers and reshuffles.
The six deputy spokespersons are Surachet Ngamwong, Benjarat Netipho, Songphon Suwanphong, Teepakorn Komolphanphorn, Jitpat Phumhirun, and Wanathip Waser. The Director of the Public Information and Public Relations Bureau, Jariyapa Tajaroen, has been appointed as the assistant spokesperson. These appointments are intended to ensure the Office’s communications and public relations are accurate, timely, and responsive to current developments. They also aim to increase public awareness of the Office’s roles and responsibilities, and to promote its image as an organization committed to efficiency, fairness, and transparency.
