Pierre-Andre Pelletier is a multi-lingual, seasoned hotelier with over 30 years’ hospitality experience in Europe and Asia.

Montien Tantakit, Executive Managing Director, Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok has appointed Mr Pierre-Andre Pelletier as Area General Manager, overseeing Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok and 56 Surawong Hotel.



Mr Pelletier is a multi-lingual, seasoned hotelier with over 30 years’ hospitality experience in Europe and Asia. From a family of hoteliers and restauranteurs in Switzerland, he graduated from the renowned EHL – Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

“We have undertaken a major renovation to once again position the Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok as a landmark in the city” said Montien Tantakit. “With his wealth of hospitality experience and genuine respect and understanding of the Thai culture, Pierre is the perfect addition to lead our exciting new Bangkok hotels”.


Mr Pelletier has spent over 28 years in Thailand starting his career at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. In recent years, he was based in Phuket as Regional Vice President, Operations Southern Thailand, Vietnam, Maldives with Onyx Hospitality Group. He was responsible for the operation and commercial management of existing properties and new projects, with a strong focus on revenue management, digital marketing, and traditional sales channels to ensure optimum market mix and maximum revenue growth.

With his in-depth experience in the hospitality industry and extensive knowledge of luxury brands, he will be a great asset to Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok and 56 Surawong Hotel as they continue to provide guests with memorable experiences and uphold the Thai Hospitality of which they are so proud.
