PHUKET, Thailand – Clear weather greeted Phuket on Saturday morning, with aircraft once again landing on runway 09 at Phuket International Airport, passing low over Mai Khao Beach. The return of the popular beachside landing approach offers a welcome sign that the island’s high season is beginning after days of heavy rain.
