Nepal earthquake has no impact on Thailand, TMD confirms

BANGKOK, 26 April 2015 – Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) confirmed the 7-8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal had no impact on Thailand, director-general Wanchai Sakudomchai said today.

He continued with weather forecast in Thailand for next week. From tomorrow onwards, the high pressure area over Thailand is weakening, resulting in less rain in the North and the Northeast, and later in the Central region.

Temperature is rising again all over the country and predicted to reach 40 degrees Celsius by the end of April.

People should beware of accidents due to road slippery although there is not much rainfall during the period.
