BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand was chosen as the exclusive filming location for MTV’s reality competition series, The Challenge: Cutthroat Season 42, premiering on Paramount+ on August 5, 2026. The series, which was shot entirely in Bangkok and Pattaya, will showcase the country’s growing appeal as a leading global film destination. To celebrate the premiere, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New York Office launched the “Amazing Thailand x The Challenge Season 42” campaign on its Thailand Insider platform.
