BANGKOK, Thailand – His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua granted a New Year’s royal address from Amphon SatharnThrone Hall, Dusit Palace.
His Majesty extended happiness and best wishes to all Thai people and expressed deep appreciation for the unity shown by citizens nationwide following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. His Majesty said the people’s sincerity and respect would remain a source of strength in fulfilling royal duties.
Reflecting on the past year, His Majesty the King noted global instability, international tensions, and severe natural disasters, which have affected livelihoods and morale. He emphasized that strengthening friendships with other nations and fostering harmony within Thailand are essential.
The King called on all Thais to work together with integrity, goodness, and dedication to the national interest, saying such cooperation is the foundation of stability and lasting peace.
