
BANGKOK, Thailand – Foreign diplomats, military attachés, and journalists visited conflict-affected areas in Kantharalak District, Sisaket Province on Friday, including a PTT gas station struck by Cambodian shelling that killed 8 civilians and injured 15.
Sites visited included the gas station, a nearby convenience store, and a district hospital in the explosion area.
Thai authorities emphasized that the attacks targeted non-military zones, violating humanitarian law. The government urged delegates to report the situation accurately and reaffirmed its commitment to a lawful and peaceful defense of national sovereignty. (NNT)
