SUPHANBURI, Thailand – A 59-year-old Indian-American teacher has been arrested in Suphanburi following allegations of inappropriate behavior toward a student at a local language institute. The case reportedly dates back to mid-2024 and continued until August 2025. The student involved eventually reported the incidents to her family and authorities.
Police obtained a court-issued warrant for the suspect and conducted the arrest at the institute. Investigators cited video evidence recorded inside the classroom.
Suphanburi Immigration Superintendent Lt. Col. Peeraphat Khaikluang confirmed the suspect denies all allegations. Authorities are reviewing his history in Thailand and abroad and plan to proceed with legal action while revoking his residency due to public safety concerns. (TNA)
