
BANGKOK, Thailand – The National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) welcomed H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand, for an interview on the television program “Thai Pulse” in celebration of the 170th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and France. Ambassador Poimboeuf was welcomed by NBT Director Tassaneeyapon Doungkaew and senior executives of the station. During the interview, Ambassador Poimboeuf discussed the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Thailand and France, highlighting the strong ties fostered through the Thai monarchy and governments of both countries.
The program also explored key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade and investment, cultural exchange, and the Joint Action Plan to Strengthen the Thai–French Partnership 2026–2028.
Discussions further touched on opportunities to expand cooperation following the recent visit of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to France. Ambassador Poimboeuf also invited the Thai public to visit the exhibition “La Mode en Majesté: Royal Thai Dress from Tradition to Modernity”, currently on display in Paris, showcasing the richness and evolution of Thai royal dress and textile heritage.
