
NARATHIWAT, Thailand – Fourth Army Area Commander Lt. Gen. Norathip Poinok has visited three patients affected by recent violence in Narathiwat to monitor their treatment and offer support. Lt. Gen. Norathip, who also serves as the Director of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) Region 4, visited Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Hospital in Mueang Narathiwat district on August 23, 2026. The three patients were injured in separate incidents. He instructed agencies to provide ongoing care and ensure the victims receive comprehensive medical and rehabilitative support. He reiterated that public safety, medical care, and support for those affected remain top priorities.
The ISOC Region 4 Forward Command reaffirmed its commitment to working with all security sectors to maintain regional stability and expedite legal action against the perpetrators.
