Deputy Government Spokesperson Patdarasm Thongsaluaykorn announces free repair and recovery services through Traffy Fondue for flood-affected residents in seven provinces.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The government encourages flood-affected residents to request repair and recovery assistance through the Traffy Fondue platform, which connects them with relevant agencies and technician networks. Deputy Government Spokesperson Patdarasm Thongsaluaykorn announced on October 3, 2026, that the “Traffy Fondue: Repair, Rebuild, Fight Floods” service provides repairs for homes, electrical systems, household appliances, vehicles, and motorcycles, as well as medical, food, cleaning, and other recovery services.

Residents can request assistance via LINE by adding @TraffyFondue, selecting the flood recovery menu, choosing the type of assistance needed, providing details and photos of the damage, and sharing the location. The system forwards requests to the appropriate agency or technician team and allows users to track progress until completion. The spokesperson noted that portable damaged items may be sent to designated repair locations, while technicians or mobile units will be dispatched for larger equipment or household systems that cannot be moved.

The initiative brings together five ministries: Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Defense; Labor; Social Development and Human Security; and Education, along with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and networks of universities, vocational institutions, military personnel, and skilled technicians.

The Department of Skill Development is providing technicians to repair flood-damaged equipment, appliances, and vehicles free of charge. Assistance is also available for older adults, people with disabilities, and others who cannot access the system independently. The spokesperson stated that the service is currently being piloted in seven provinces: Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Kanchanaburi, as authorities work to accelerate the return to normalcy for all affected citizens.
