Deputy PM Ekniti brings urgent flood relief to Nonthaburi’s hard-hit communities

Deputy PM and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas, with Minister Napintorn Srisunpang, personally delivered relief supplies to thousands of households in Pak Kret District, aiding residents in the aftermath of severe flooding.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas, joined by Prime Minister’s Office Minister Napintorn Srisunpang, visited flood-affected communities in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi, to distribute relief bags to affected households. They were welcomed by Nonthaburi Governor Chettha Mosikarat, along with provincial and district officials and representatives from relevant agencies.


The initiative aims to ensure that affected residents receive timely access to essential items needed for daily living. In Koh Kret Subdistrict, 1,354 households received relief bags. The delegation then visited Wat Toei in Bang Tanai Subdistrict to deliver additional assistance to Village No. 3, with support from the Government Lottery Office, reaching 147 households.

The visit is part of the government’s urgent response to assist communities impacted by flooding in Nonthaburi Province. Officials emphasized that the relief efforts aim to deliver comprehensive, practical support to ensure residents’ welfare throughout the recovery period. (NNT)
