NAN, Thailand – Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Ukrit Boontanon visited Pua District, Nan Province, to oversee flood recovery efforts and distribute relief bags to 500 families in Ban Kaem in Woranakhon Subdistrict. Gen. Ukrit inspected a royal kitchen, a mobile field kitchen, and a drinking water production vehicle. He encouraged personnel to prepare three daily meals, with 1,500 boxed meals provided at each mealtime. CP supplied food for meal preparation for flood-affected residents.
The Chief of Defense Forces received a briefing from relevant agencies before inspecting recovery work by personnel from the 38th Military Circle, 32nd Ranger Regiment, 31st Military Development Unit, and Suriyaphong Camp Hospital. Teams are cleaning homes, removing debris and mud, and relocating vehicles damaged by floodwaters to help communities return to normal as quickly as possible. Residents are also working to restore their homes after the floods. Their most urgent needs are clean water for cleaning and restored electricity to resume daily activities and continue repairs.
