The premier welcomed Zhang Jianwei, China’s ambassador to Thailand, during a courtesy call at Government House.

The assistance totals 20 million yuan, or about 90.9 million baht. Of that amount, 10 million yuan was provided as a cash contribution to the Disaster Relief Fund under the Office of the Prime Minister, while the remaining 10 million yuan was delivered in relief supplies to the Ministry of the Interior.

The relief items will be distributed to families of those who lost their lives and to people affected by unrest and public emergencies in border areas. Authorities said the support will help reinforce ongoing relief operations and address urgent needs.
