Cha-am International Kite Festival to take place from March 9-11


BANGKOK, 2 March 2012  – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that the Cha-am International Kite Festival will take place from March 9-11. 

TAT Governor Suraphon Svetasreni said the event will be a fun-filled activity for all family members. The kite festival is set to welcome the summer season, when the wind is suitable for kite-flying activities.

Kite runners from various countries will join the event in competitions and performances. Both Thai and international kites will be on display. Thai traditional music will also be a big part of the event. Children and interested people could enjoy kite-making and other activities as well.
