BANGKOK, Thailand – The Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, was illuminated with the colors of the Thai national flag on 12 December 2025 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
Located in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, the Burj Khalifa displayed a full-building LED light presentation featuring the red, white, and blue of Thailand’s national flag. The illumination was part of commemorative activities celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The symbolic display attracted attention from Thai nationals residing in the UAE and international visitors alike, serving as a visual representation of the long-standing, close diplomatic ties between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
