Bangkok ready for ’Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024 Vijit Arun’

The event, running from 6 p.m. on December 31, 2023, to 12.30 a.m. on January 1, 2024, will showcase cultural performances, including the Khon masked dance and the Joe Louis Thai Puppet Show, alongside music by the Chao Phraya Symphony Orchestra and various Thai artists.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is gearing up for the ’Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024 Vijit Arun’ on New Year’s Eve at Nagaraphirom Park, featuring the Temple of Dawn and the Chao Phraya River as its backdrop.

The event, running from 6 p.m. on December 31, 2023, to 12.30 a.m. on January 1, 2024, will showcase cultural performances, including the Khon masked dance and the Joe Louis Thai Puppet Show, alongside music by the Chao Phraya Symphony Orchestra and various Thai artists.



A key highlight will be the midnight fireworks, symbolizing Thailand’s evolution, complemented by a collective rendition of Happy New Year songs.

Alongside Bangkok’s celebration, TAT also hosts the Korat Winter Festival and Countdown 2024 in Nakhon Ratchasima province, featuring a special New Year countdown and various festivities.

These events are part of TAT’s efforts to promote Thai culture and boost tourism, with a revenue of 54 billion Baht by the end of 2024. (NNT)
