BANGKOK, Thailand – Heavy rain and flooding in Bangkok have disrupted the property market, with several major developers postponing condominium launches and presale events involving more than 1,000 units. The decisions come as persistent rain and flooding have affected daily life and travel across the capital, prompting developers to put customer safety and convenience ahead of scheduled sales events.
Several major condominium projects have already announced changes to their launch schedules. Chapter One Bloc 19 Ratchada postponed its VVIP event from September 26–27 to October 3–4, 2026. Its sales office remains open for customers who are able to travel. Sansiri’s Pynn Kaset condominium also postponed its presale event scheduled for the weekend because of flooding and concerns over travel safety.
AssetWise’s Kave Bloom Kaset postponed its September 26 sales launch due to heavy rain and flooding in several areas. Developers said they are closely monitoring conditions and will announce revised launch and booking schedules once the situation returns to normal. Customers can continue contacting the respective sales offices for project information and updates, while the developers assess when their scheduled events can safely resume.
