BANGKOK, Thailand – A French tourist was reunited with a lost mobile phone after seeking help from Bangkok Tourist Police, who quickly tracked down the device and ensured the visitor returned safely to the hotel. At around 7:00 p.m. on July 22, officers from Bangkok Tourist Police South Station, assisted by an interpreter, responded after the tourist reported leaving a mobile phone on a public bus while traveling from Pak Khlong Talat to the hotel.
Police contacted the bus driver, who located the phone and arranged for it to be returned to its owner. Officers then escorted the tourist safely back to the hotel. The incident highlights the commitment of Thailand’s Tourist Police to assisting visitors and ensuring a safe travel experience. Authorities thanked everyone involved for their cooperation and reminded tourists that assistance is available 24 hours a day through the Tourist Police hotline 1155.
