BANCHANG, Thailand – Looking for something different from the familiar dining scene of Pattaya and Jomtien? Just a short drive away, Warng Warng Original Taiwanese Shabu near Phala Beach in Ban Chang offers an authentic, family-friendly hotpot experience with quality ingredients, distinctive flavours and an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Founded in Bangkok by Taiwanese restaurateur Al Pien from Taipei, Warng Warng has brought its signature Taiwanese-style shabu to Ban Chang, where the restaurant is managed by Thai businessman Tony Malhotra and his wife.

Unlike traditional Japanese shabu, Taiwanese-style hotpot places a strong emphasis on aromatic broths and fresh ingredients, with less reliance on oil. Guests can choose from six different soup bases, including the restaurant’s popular mala broth, prepared with no fewer than 21 different herbs and spices.

Other choices include tomato, chicken, mushroom and authentic Japanese sukiyaki, giving diners plenty of options for creating their own perfect hotpot.

“We maintain the highest standards by using only the best-quality meats, including pork, beef and chicken, brought down from Bangkok,” Tony said.

The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat buffet from just 349 baht, with vegetarian options available on request. Guests can enjoy their meal at their own pace while selecting their favourite meats, vegetables and other ingredients to cook in the bubbling broth.

For private gatherings, the restaurant also has a private dining room for up to 12 people, making it suitable for families, friends and corporate groups looking for a more intimate setting.

Warng Warng is conveniently located on Phala Beach Road, Ban Chang, just 20 metres from the roundabout and close to the beach. It is also near Eastern Star Golf Resort and Garden International School, making it a convenient dining option for local residents, visitors and golfers.

Ban Chang itself is becoming an increasingly popular destination in the Eastern Economic Corridor.
