In line with Cape & Kantary Hotels’ commitment to support the prevention of cruelty to animals, the hotel group has taken a pledge to be 100% fin free in cooperation with Fin Free Thailand. Besides shark fin, the hotel group has always excluded items like bird’s nest and foie gras from menus of their 8 restaurant brands and 17 properties. Cape House Serviced Apartments Bangkok General Manager Teeraya Smitinont (2nd left), Cape and Kantary Hotels Marketing Director Nick Laidlaw (far right), and No.43 Italian Bistro Restaurant Executive Chef Sebastien Schneider (3rd left) are seen here being presented with Fin Free Thailand’s Blue List plague and certificate by Fin Free’s Brand Ambassador, Sirinya (Cindy) Bishop (left), for the hotel group’s participation in the project.
