Suntec Singapore is to host the Build Eco XPO, which brings together industry practitioners, professionals and key buyers across the regions to learn, network and do business with Southeast Asia’s developing economies.  There is wide-reaching agreement that future building design, architecture and the use of building products must become more ecologically sound, more innovative and more sustainable; BEX Asia 2011 offers attendees and exhibitors the chance to find new ways of achieving these green goals.  The event will run for 3 days, from the 14 to 16 September.

BEX Asia is the leading platform for featuring current developments, showcasing of technologies, products and services, and networking opportunities focused on the core theme of “Build Green”.

Over 200 exhibitors will attend this year’s event, with an estimated 8,000 visitors due to arrive over the exhibition days.  Analysis of 2010’s BEX revealed that the event was attended by more than 7,000 international trade visitors within the building design and building products industries.

Key highlights for the 2011 event include a VIP space for effective networking, the BEX Asia opening address and seminars by guest speakers and delegates, and FOCUS @BEX; a show floor which allows exhibitors to demonstrate their latest products.  Held alongside BEX Asia is the IGBC Conference 2011 which focuses on sustainable operations and maintenance, as well as tropical architecture, integrated design methodology, advanced technologies and green building case studies.
