PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Jan. 23, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Greenwood and played the A & B course which was in beautiful condition. Also no complaints about the weather, nice day slightly clouded and not to warm. All the circumstances are there for good scores and we had some.
It was again Stan Rees who played very consistently and had a very good score. He won with 42 points ahead of Jonathan Pratt in second with 38. Dave Smith was third with a level par 36.
The near pins went to Dave Smith, Paddy Devereux, Neil Harvey and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, Jan. 25, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Pleasant Valley was our venue for Thursday on a slightly clouded day. The course looked very good but the greens were again difficult for our group.
Today it was Dave Smith who was going like a rocket and he won with 40 points, but Paddy Devereux kept it very close with 39 for second. Third went to Jonathan Pratt with 36 points.
The near pins were claimed by Dave Smith, Paddy Devereux and Willem Lasonder.
