2nd Craig Hitchens (15) 36pts
3rd Donal McGuigan (20) 34pts
We had probably what was our smallest group out here at Green Valley as most of our friends were still away from the madness that is Songkran. What a difference a week can make in the weather, last Sunday was just beautiful for golf but today the usual April weather was here with a bang and it was very hot.
You would think that with a small group out you wouldn’t need a great score to win but that certainly wasn’t the case today as Joe Peters, after winning the medal last Sunday, burned it up today and he came in with forty three points, our best score here in a very long time. That will tighten up his handicap a bit as the next best was Craig Hitchens with thirty six points. Donal McGuigan took the third and last place with thirty four points and we had one ‘2’ today from Ben Wilkinson.
