Sunday, April 1, Green Valley – Stableford

1st Eddy Beilby (25) 43pts

2nd Jez Lees (24) 39pts

3rd Peter Terry (19) 38pts

The first outing of the new month saw us take another of our regular Sunday trip to Green Valley.  Yet again the course was in excellent condition (although I did hear some rumblings about the greens being a little inconsistent).  We had a smallish turnout so only one flight was required.

Eddy ‘the Eagle’ Beilby was the man of the match with a sparkling 43 points and was four strokes clear of Jez ‘the principle’ Lees.  Peter Terry was left to tidy up the flight a further stroke back.

The principle had two 2’s and was over the moon till he found out that they had stopped the ‘2’s pot the previous week.

Tuesday, April 3, Green Valley – Stableford

1st Eddy Beilby (25) 40pts

2nd Steve Mann (14) 39pts

3rd Gentry Harrington (15) 37pts

4th Pat Regan (18) 33pts

The beginning of April heralded the onset of better scores.  The course is quite dry now and with some decent run, the players are starting to find it easier to rack up some points.

Eddy ‘the Eagle’ Beilby took advantage of the conditions by winning his second game in three days to take the week’s title spot with a fine 40 points.  Steve Mann was not far behind Eddy in second place with 39 points, Gentry Harrington took the third podium spot with37, and Pat ‘the Irish rover’ Regan took the final step on the podium with 33.

The final ‘2’s pot was split between Gentry Harrington and Pat Regan.
