On Friday, February 22nd a group of 29 expat golfers met at Burapha Golf Course to compete in the fifth annual Chrusi’s Golfing Lounge Charity Trophy.

The golf course was in top shape on this sunny day, and the players were in a great mood. After all, they knew that they played for a good cause: to support Jesters Care for Kids.

In addition to the proceeds for the tournament, money was raised with penalties for playing into bunkers, water, and requiring more than three putts. This counted a total of 74,050 baht during the day.

After sunset, the group met for a spectacular dinner at Ristorante Da Marco on the Darkside. They celebrated the winners and enjoyed talking about golf and life in Pattaya until late at night. Several members donated additional funds to Jesters Care for Kids, bringing the total money raised to 108,650 baht, breaking the 100,000 baht mark for the 3th time in a row. This means we raised more than 500,000 during the first five tournaments.

All participants agreed: playing golf in Thailand is fun and doing it with like-minded friends is even better, but it pales in comparison to doing it for a good cause.
