Burapha A and B
Stableford

Burapha A and B loops in hot and cloudy weather but no rain. The course was in great condition apart from a few of the greens that were very patchy in places.

With 4 groups playing we got away a little early and played millionaire golf. The course was almost deserted and I will never know why, as the price for oldies like us is the best price of any course in this area.

The scoring was very good. Apart from 3 players, everyone scored in the 30s.

Captain Cripple had a bad day at the office having to buy his playing partners a drink for not getting past the ladies’ tee on one hole, much to the mirth of the other guys.

There was a count back for 4th place between Roger Emery and Vic Hester both on 35 points. Vic got the nod for that spot. 3rd place went to Glyn Davies with 36 points. Mr Consistency Thiery Petrement took 2nd prize with 38 points and Paul Greenaway took the top spot with a great 41 points.

There were no twos recorded.

Now in all seriousness, any society not having a game at Burapha is missing out. The course is in great condition and the price of 1250 all in for over 60s is an absolute must to play.
