Able the Disabled Foundation Horseshoe Point Pattaya

For the riders of Able the Disabled we celebrated the end of the year with a fun competition. This year’s riders spent two months with their volunteer helpers and the grooms, learning a 4 minute test. The Caprilli test consists of trotting poles to rise and go over, one circle, two salutes and steering around corners. Each movement is marked out of 10 points.

Our judge this year, Richard Thell from the USA, was full of compassion and support for our riders. A huge thank you to him for judging each test, helping to make this event special along with scribe Flore.

We would like to thank our sponsor, Pattaya International Ladies Circle, for sponsoring the rosettes. Our winner this year was Panyopon Jindahra who held up the winner’s cup with great pride. A lunch was enjoyed by all the parents and children, making this day a special memory for everyone.

If you would like to know more about volunteering to help special needs children with therapy riding, or love being around horses, contact Sandra on 0868483684. Our classes are on Monday and Thursday from 10.00am to 12.00. We also give private lessons to special needs riders any day of the week.
