Pattaya School No. 2 receives 330 donated bicycles

The Ramkhamhaeng Association of Pattaya-Chonburi and Total Access Communications donated 330 bicycles to Pattaya School No. 2 and surrounding institutions to help students get to class.

Pattaya Provincial Court Chief Justice Apichart Thepnoo, the president of the Ramkhamhaeng Association, and Amnary Kosolrot, senior regional business manager for DTAC, presided over the March 28 event at the South Pattaya school with students, teachers and local political and police officials.

Students appeared delighted to receive the bikes. They will be used by those in grades 4-6.

The objective of the project is to support the outstanding students who have poor families and cannot afford proper transportation.

Students will also get exercise as well. This is one of the first projects jointly hosted by the Ramkhamhaeng Association of Chonburi-Pattaya and it is planning similar events in the future.
