Garden International School (GIS) students swept the boards following recent drama-based examinations.

Dozens of GIS Secondary students took part in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations. The results have been released and show that GIS students did brilliantly, gaining the highest grades and the best overall results in the region.

GeeGee in Year 11 did particularly well, scoring 99 percent in her test – higher than anyone from any other school in this part of Thailand. Other amazing scores include Shaniya and Seren with 98 and Henry with 97 out of 100.

Year 10 students have begun studying IGCSE Drama at GIS for the first time this year, and, based on these scores, should do very well. Drama teacher Mr Lund said: “These great results reflect the huge amount of talent that we are fortunate to have here at GIS, as well as the dedication and commitment shown by the students and their teachers.

“This confirms again that GIS is the leading centre for the Arts in this region.”
