
PATTAYA, Thailand – Two young motorcyclists were injured on Chaiyaphornvithi Road in east Pattaya on August 25 after colliding with a pickup truck that turned suddenly. The victims, 22-year-old Wacharapol Yingyuen and 19-year-old Rassarin Phutwech, sustained arm and leg injuries, respectively, and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to Wacharapol, he was traveling from Pattaya to Chachoengsao when the white Toyota Revo pickup veered from the left lane to the middle and suddenly turned toward a factory. He was unable to stop in time and collided with the truck. The pickup driver, 32-year-old Anu Kanphong, said he was slowing down to enter the factory when the crash occurred.
Police have inspected the scene and will continue investigating the circumstances of the collision.
