Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau officials met with Pattaya administrators to brainstorm ideas to bring more meetings, conventions, incentives and exhibitions to the city.

Mayor Sonthaya Kunplome and top city and regional business and tourism executives met Nov. 9 at the Zign Hotel with TCEB advisors Pipat Lertkittisuk and Santi Charoenpornpattana.

The TCEB is working to improve MICE facilities nationwide. Working with consultants from Thammasat University, the bureau is collecting field data including obstacles, opportunities and environmental factors in five MICE cities by exchanging ideas to bring more business customers to Pattaya.

Sonthaya said Pattaya is ready to give its full support and has facilities such as the Peach Convention Center to support MICE events.
